IODIZED/NON-IODIZED SEA SALT
This is the regular refined salt that we consume daily in our food. We offer salt which may be up to 100% fine having a minimum purity level of 98%.

It is whitish pink in colour with lower sodium content than table salt with 94 trace minerals as opposed to just the three that are in common table salt. It is being used extensively by food companies to get better health claims on their labels by lowering the sodium content of their products. Apart from food, it also finds its application in Ayurvedic medicines to treat various health disorders.
Since it is difficult to source high quality Sendha Namak due to the unorganised sector, Paras procures and processes it under stringent quality control conditions.

To get uniform coloured products with minimum foreign bodies is a challenging task. At Paras, the raw material is procured from approved suppliers and is processed through cleaning of foreign bodies, sieving and then eliminating ferrous and metallic residue through magnets and metal detectors on the packaging line. It undergoes testing at all levels starting from Organoleptic, chemical-physical to microbiology in the in-house and external laboratory as per regulatory and customer’s specifications.
DRIED LEGUMES & POWDERS

Finding their application in creation of various Indian snacks and namkeens, dried legumes and their powders are processed in Paras using traditional stone mill grinders. These grinders help in retaining the flavour and achieve the desired texture.
